This Southern Lake Michigan frontage site on Poupard Bay has been held by Moran Township for a boat launch development, is now for sale. The township decided they wanted a launch site closer to the Mackinac Bridge. This parcel boasts 870 feet of waterfront and 9.31 acres, see new survey. A former commercial fishing site, remnants of that operation are still there. The site includes 75% m/l of the inlet and potential launch area. There are some wild flowers that have been marked by the DEQ (see survey) but with caution this could be an incredible opportunity to own a waterfront parcel that would allow for a safe boat harbor-a rarity between the St. Ignace and Naubinway area. Environmental approvals and permitting will be required prior to any new road construction or building site approval.
